I often think about my dreams when I woke up. Some of them give me very useful advices about things I can't seem to ponder properly while Im awake. Of course, most of my dreams are still nonsense.

Warhammer 40k Tribute 2

"This is not a parking zone!"

date: December 6, 2009

One of my all time favs. No need to explain why ;)

Howeverrrr...

Space Marines are geneticaly engineered super soldiers, who have been training about... 16 or 17 hours per DAY since a very young age. And most of them should have decades of experience.

So, why does that byker just stand there watching the pretty little boxes falling from the sky, while he is in the middle of a battlefield?
Oh, and bonus point for not noticing the 4 or 5 war machines just behing him.

But the animation more than makes up for that.

And boy, what a mess... of bug juice and explosions!

I must say I liked the game. Havent got such a challenge (and such an obsession!) in a while on Newgrounds. However, there are definitively a few flaws to correct.

1) The 'valor point' system is unfair and unforgiving. Asit is now, if you lose a tower with a gun on it, a wall or more than 2/3 experienced units before the last three levels, its basicaly games over.
2) As others have already said, you might want to solve that by increasing the points gained per ennemy (like, 3 or 4 for giant bugs, 1.5 for 'medium' bugs and 1 point for babies and locusts).
3) When the wall is down, the bazookas just sit there, NOT shooting at the swarm of bugs eager to eat their faces. A normal human might soil its pants when he s about to be devoured by a horde of space antlions, but those are soldiers dammit!
4) Your grammar. Just... your grammar. Ask council from your English teacher or any other nerd and your games will be even more enjoyable.

Also, for other players, I recommend following BlackLady Bug's lead and hire 5 mechanics, 4 heavy weapons guys and 9 soldiers/guardsmen/space marines/whatever.
It worked for me. just have a grp of 4 bazookas and 6 gunners concentrate on the main assault while your repairmen fix the wall hit by the previous assault.

G'luck.

I wanted to use that name for a book Ive been planning to write for three years now... *sigh*. Well, at least it's not for the title.

You flash is not uninteresting, far from that, even if it can be qualified as 'experimental'. I love the subtle symbolism, and I m sure that if you keep making flash, your movies will be quite awesome to see.

However, I warn you: Bethyl, Attara and Sanctias are already taken ;)

haha I'll keep that in mind.
I'm working on improving and my later ones I hope will be extreme-o awesome. Thanks!

"nice."

Great artwork, original setting, a remake that (as it happens so rarely these days) doesn't look foolish, and the option to get hints if you get stuck.

Don't change anything :)
P-S: Kinda reminded of Fallout 3.

Great artwork, no doubt. Too bad you dont see much of the storyline since it is only a demo :(

One thing that surprised me, thought, was that my game was... in French! Being French Canadian, it didn't annoy me, but Id like to know how the game choses its language.

NINJA Brawl

"Very good"

submission: NINJA Brawl
date: July 29, 2009

Very, very good. Excellent fighting game with a taste of RPG into it: Here comes the lone swordsman, unleashed like an hurricane upon the forces of darkness! Well, when you insvest heavily into the speed stat, it sure looks like it ;)

However (here comes the few things you might wanna consider for your next work; and this game is STILL awesome)...

1 Why do the "hordes of darkness" always come into a pack of four? And why do they keep walking so slowly while their buddies are being sliced before their eyes?
2 You might reach the Master's lair at, what, lvl 14, but I wasn't able to beat him on normal till lvl 24 - using all my items (5 potions, 50 shurikens, and 15 grenades, the max you can carry) in the process.
3 Hence, I had to redo every level at least... what, twice?, which would have gotten kinda boring if the ass kicking wasnt so cool to watch. But you might have wanted to make a couple more zones.
4 Maybe more stylish npc characters, and women and children amongst the villagers. No need to introduce dialogue tought.

Author's Response:

Glad you like my game :)

The reason why they're so slow is because I've realised most people get extremely frustrated with quick enemies. It's like that in most games. They do run at you sometimes...

Just plain horrible. You didnt even bother to make a constructive parody.
And btw, your "3 steps" thing is clearly taken from the "how it should have ended" video on youtube.

Well, there is nothing after the 4 legs things dying on the spikes... just game over and freeze. But maybe you did that on purpose.
